Finally, the bike is completely assembled and fitted with new tyres and shock absorbers. The rear sprocket is a Renthall alloy example while the chain now runs on a chain guide roller fitted to the bracket that was fabricated and welded to the frame in the early part of the restoration project

From the other side the bike now sports a shiny new Mikuni carb, but no reed valves owing to a recent change in the regulations and a brand new expansion chamber that is rubber mounted using a billet mount onto the bolt welded to the frame earlier in the project.

All complete and ready to race the restored machine is now waiting for collection by its new owner. Who we are sure will be more than happy with it.
